Roaring Into the Darkest Hour Imperial Stout with Coffee, Toasted Pistachio, Salted Caramel, and Bourbon Barrel Aged Vanilla Bean (Collaboration with Holy Mountain Brewing)
I am nowhere except where I am supposed to be. Idled alongside this unavoidable quest for levity. Humbled by the energy of an intertwined network of pumping hearts. There I lay lucid. There I remain inside the comfort of these flickering lights. A seance we created with our long time Seattle friends at Holy Mountain. We had the great pleasure of hopping on a boat with Colin during a Summer trip back to our ole home of Seattle, reminiscing about a world we long left behind, and talking about the parallel lives of our two breweries. So for this one, we wanted to stay connected through some shared loves, of coffee, of delicacies, of wine, of fishing and of camaraderie. A blend of 3 different Imperial Stouts, aged upon coffee beans from Seattle's Stamp Act Coffee, toasted pistachio and salted caramel, and a grip of Bourbon barrel-aged vanilla beans. The result is a Pike Place caramel macchiato, mixed with nutty General Porpoise donuts, and a salty walk along the Puget. - 15.0% ABV
