Burnpile Schedule

ENTRY TIMES

1 PM - VIP entry.

We will begin processing the VIP line with wristbands and ID checks at 12:30pm. The beer will begin pouring at 1pm. 

2 PM - Tasting Experience + Concert Only Admission

We will begin processing the Tasting Experience and Concert Only ticket holders with wristbands and ID checks at 1:45pm. Entry begins right at 2pm.

Glassware Pickup

We have designed some incredible glassware for you to take with you in commemoration of this year’s Burnpile. It will be issued to you upon entry of the festival grounds. Please keep this safely and securely on you during your time at the event, as all festival pours will be served in your glass. We will have water stations available to rinse your glass or fill your water bottle.

GETTING HERE

SHUTTLE BUS

We are excited to offer a Free Shuttle Bus service during Burnpile this year. Departing from our South Slope Brewery (10 Buxton Ave) at 12:15 PM and making trips until 4 PM, this route will take guests directly to our Forestry Camp Facility. The route will resume again at 5:00 PM, bringing folks back to the South Slope after Burnpile has concluded.

UBER/LYFT/SHARERIDE

All arrivals should navigate to 35 London Rd, Asheville, NC 28803

Please note that we highly advise using either a Designated Driver, arranging for a safe and reliable transportation by someone not partaking in the festivities, or utilizing the listed public transit option. This is a beer festival where you will receive unlimited pours. We urge you to enjoy responsibly.

PUBLIC TRANSIT

Bus S1 from the downtown Transit Station (entrances on Asheland Ave and Coxe Ave) will bring you close to Forestry Camp. Park near our South Slope taproom for easy access to the bus. This quick bus ride stops at the corner of Shady Oak Drive and London Rd. It runs until 10:30 PM and costs $1.

PARKING

We do not have parking on the street or on our property for Burnpile. There is very limited parking at Ferguson’s on London Rd across from the property which should be reserved for those with disabilities. We will have a parking attendant for the first part of the event helping direct people.

If you do park in the Ferguson Parking Lot, please ensure your car is moved by 6 AM Monday 10/6 or it will be towed.

FOOD

Food from the Chefs at Burial Forestry Camp will be available for purchase.

Outside snacks are welcome.

We want to provide a safe, supportive space for our guests and staff members at all times, and Burnpile is no exception. As we come together in community to enjoy music and beer, we wanted to share our code of conduct.

  • Speak to staff and other guests respectfully
  • Monitor level of alcohol consumption to ensure the safety of yourself and others
  • Be kind to others- no racial slurs; no derogatory commentary to others
  • Voice concerns in a constructive manner
  • Do not climb, jump, run or engage in any physical activities that might put oneself in danger
  • Do not deface property
  • Do not open outside beer or food on property
  • Do not become physically threatening or engage in unwanted physical touch

Yes. We will have food options from the Chefs at Forestry Camp as well as a guest food. You are welcome to bring in snacks if you have special dietary restrictions.

There is NO parking on site. Please use our complimentary shuttle bus from downtown at 10 Buxton Ave which begins loading at 12:15 through the day with a small break from 4-5pm. Plan ahead with ride shares or park in Biltmore Village.

This event is rain or shine. If there is unsafe inclement weather, you will be notified via email or SMS. Please follow our social media pages for important event updates.

Burnpile sells out every year. There will be no upgrades available once the event is SOLD OUT. Please ensure you purchase the experience you prefer.

No. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. This event is rain or shine. Tickets can be transferred to others through our ticket vendor, DICE, if a purchaser is not able to attend.

Absolutely. We will have a wide array of Burnpile and Burial merchandise available for purchase at the merch tent.

Ferguson Plumbing has first come first serve parking for people that need ADA accommodations.

You can purchase individual Burial cans and pours of wine to consume at the festival for an additional cost. Items at the Burial Can and Wine Bar are not included in your ticket price. Please note, festival pours are only included with Tasting Experience and VIP Tickets. CONCERT ONLY does not include complimentary festival pours.

Definitely. We’ll have several NA beers and non-alcoholic options available to be enjoyed.

  • Small bags are preferred and all bags will be subject to inspection upon entry. Please leave all weapons at home!

Yes. Our box office is located at our South Slope Burial merch shop during normal hours of operation. 40 Collier Ave Asheville, NC 28801.

The taproom will be open for you to purchase togo beers but they must remain unopened while you are on the property. Our South Slope taproom will have plenty of to go beers to purchase which you can visit easily via our shuttle bus!

You will need a valid drivers license, NC special identification card, military identification card OR an unexpired passport is permitted. Printed or expired ID’s will not be accepted
