Tasting Notes: Light bodied, dry, low tannin. Exceptional with seafood. Notes of blackberry, purple flowers, watermelon, bubble gum, banana skin, nettles, black pepper crusted cured meats, forest floor.
Vineyard: Presqu'ile Vineyard, Santa Maria AVA Varietal: Gamay ABV: 12.5% Harvest: September 2022 Site description via Evan: powdery soils, well drained, you can see the ocean.
Vinification: Whole cluster fermented with native yeast in open top bins. Lightly foot treaded prior to pressing. Aged in neutral oak for 12 months. Aged in the bottle for 3 months.
Bottling: 750 ml Antique Green, corked. Contains sulfites. 101 cases produced.
