Ritual of Senses – Spring Equinox 2026
Contents of Package:
1x 375ml bottle of VISUALS Aperitif Wine - "Like A Thick Tapestry of Motion" - Created in collaboration with Walker Farrell, featuring saffron, mint and star anise.
1x limited edition cassette - "Crocus" by Walker Farrell.
Comes packaged in a wood box, stamped with a branding iron and hand dyed with VISUALS wine.
Further readings:
Walker Farrell’s formative music experience was nightly sessions in bed with a cassette tape of Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue, provided by his parents as a way to keep his chronically insomniac mind occupied. The many inventive melodic lines on the tape, especially John Coltrane’s bold entrance on “So What,” soundtracked imaginary movies in his head. With Crocus, Walker scores a new imaginary film, a sonic depiction of the first 24 hours of spring as experienced by a 1/8” tall garden dweller. Taking structural, musical, and spiritual guidance from many different moments in the artistic life of John Coltrane, Crocus is a celebration of the complexity and beauty of life as it boldly returns to triumph over the death and desolation of winter.
The pairing wine, "Like A Thick Tapestry of Motion", got its inspiration from “Crocus”, the name of Walker’s new album, and features saffron, the world's most expensive spice, derived from the dried stigmas of the Crocus flower. Saffron tints the white wine base an intense yellow color, like captured rays of Spring sun. Additional botanicals include mint, star anise, lime, spruce, cinnamon, orris root, cardamom, rose, orange blossom, vanilla, coriander, bay, clove, nutmeg, and wormwood. 15.5% abv.
