Walk Off Into The Unequivocable Imperial Stout with French Broach Cocoa Nibs, Black Urfa Chilis, Buffalo Ginger, and Mexican Vanilla Beans

An ode to the heroic moments. Where obstacles and afflictions dissolve into the opportunity of a lifetime. And banners are hung from the rafters. Painted in LA blue. This imperial stout was born out of a trip we took to Dogfish Head for the Craft Beer & Brewing Brewer's Retreat back in October. Alongside Henry and Adriana of Monkish, we attended a presentation given by single-origin spice purveyors, Burlap & Barrel. They brought some samples of their equitably sourced offerings from farmers around the globe, including Turkish black urfa chilis, Vietnamese buffalo ginger, and Mexican vanilla, which all made their way into this beer. Along with some French Broad Chocolates cocoa nibs as a compliment. Enjoy notes of mole bundt cake dusted with fresh ground ginger and drizzled in honey vanilla buttercream icing.
