Slaughtered Fates Barrel-Aged Dark Sour Ale
The world is filled with its misfits, and damnation lurks for them all. But in times of great rebirth, a triumphant renaissance may often be found in the spaces of the unknown. This sour ale was made from bourbon-barrel aged Helved Brod, last year’s anniversary beer for The Porter Beer Bar, blended with a barrage of eccentric sour ales of mixed age and makeup. 33% Bourbon-Barrel Aged Danish Imperial Porter, 33% golden sour ales aged 1-2 years and 33% dark sour ale aged with blueberries. The resultant beer is an exploration of complexity, ripe with amaro-like botanical phenols, copious vanillins and other overly-ripe fruitiness.

Otherworldly Entities Rustic Saison Ale
This rustic multigrain saison was mashed with Riverbend barley and wheat, Carolina Ground raw rye, Epiphany spelt and malted oats. Subsequently spiced with Mandarina Bavaria hops, peppercorns, lemon Peel, ginger, and chamomile. 5 malts, 5 spices and one magical yeast blend combine forces to produce an exotic, elegant entity. Imbibe and be transported to new and otherworldly places.

Off-Topic and Beer Release with Blackberry Farm Brewery
On Friday, August 17th, we will release Revival of the Forgotten Saison with brettanomyces, brewed in collaboration with Blackberry Farm Brewery. This Saison was made with Epiphany Craft Malt and hopped with Meridian, Citra and Huell Melon, then bottle conditioned with brettanomyces. This release will be available on draft and in 750ml bottles.
Tickets are $10 at the door and include a branded glass to keep, access to the talk, and shared beers from Blackberry Farms. Tickets will be available starting at 5:30p
An evening with Brewery Bhavana
At the Taproom on Friday, August 24th we are celebrating Brewery Bhavana from Raleigh, NC with a selection of their beers on draft, thematic food options and an off-topic conversation where you can interact with the fine folks who create the beer.
Off-Topic will start at 6:00p with tickets on sale at 5:30p. Tickets are $10 at the door and include a branded glass to keep, access to the talk, and special beers to share from Brewery Bhavana.
Sour Beer Release and Exclusive Taproom Tasting

The conception of our wildest dreams and most simple desires, this Mixed Culture Ale is made with NC barley and wheat from Riverbend Malt and aged in our Brunello Foudre. Dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and Wakatu hops and bottle conditioned.
