Our Last Rites Lager with Brettanomyces (Collab with Invasive Species)
Brewed in collaboration with Invasive Species in Fort Lauderdale, this hybrid lager saw an initial cold fermentation with lager yeast and a warm secondary fermentation with a wild yeast. After a month of fermentation it was additionally lagered for 2 weeks. Unapologetically planted at the strange intersection between clean and funky, this experimental brew epitomizes throwing caution to the wind. A brewer’s blasphemy displaying aromatic notes of warm croissant, ripe pear, lemon pith, pine sap, and hay baking under the summer sun.

Felled in Howling Wind Cherry Stout
Inspired by Seattle doom duo Bell Witch, this stout was brewed with a desire to find beautiful light amidst heavy darkness. Pouring soot black and possessing aromatic notes of bitter chocolate and scorched earth, the blackened experience quickly shifts as a bright, tart cherry note emerges. With a light body and an approachable abv, this is a beguiling tale of deception. Mournful yet melodic, crushing yet ethereal, a reminder to seek that which is deep beneath the surface.

The Bridge of Restraint Open Fermented Saison Ale
Freedom from restraint can lead both the free and the refined to madness. But often the forbidden places hold the greatest truths. Will your mind bridge the gap to profundity or send you spiraling to hysteria? Brewed with a rustic, multigrain grist and open fermented with saison and wild yeasts in our Belgian inspired, dish bottom fermenter.
Our bridge leads us to the orchard with juicy pear drippings down our chin, sun drenched hay beneath our feet, baking pie crust wafting from the farmhouse and the anticipation of rain on the horizon. Live like it’s your last.

Bonedagger Pale Ale
Deep within our very bodies resides the punishing truth and morbid drive to forge the tools for a path to enlightenment. This Pale is made from wheat from three varietals; malted red wheat, flaked wheat, and raw NC-grown wheat. Bonedagger offers a round mouthfeel and a midly-sweet grain presence, but is dry-hopped with dank and peachy Citra hops and Simcoe Lupulin Powder that take this Pale to the bounds of the style.

Come celebrate this incredible journey with the Jess, Doug and Tim and the amazing staff of Burial. We hope to share a toast in honor of all of the amazing dads out there on Father’s Day, as well as everyone who has been a part of Burial over the years.
