Ticket Price: $75 includes beverages, food and tax. Does not include tip. Tickets are required to be purchased ahead of time but there will be an opportunity after the dinner to leave a tip.

2019 Asheville Beer Week Events:

Friday 5/24: Beer Week Kick Off Release- 12PM
(Releases will also occur at The Exhibit Space, Raleigh on Friday 5/24 at 12PM)

This is the first day of AVL Beer week so we are kicking it off with a canned release designed especially for Beer Week, 2 limited bottle releases and a return of a fan favorite. All four releases are taproom only releases. The release will begin at 12PM with the line forming on the Collier Avenue Side of the building. Check out Instagram and Facebook closer to the event for beer details!

Monday 5/27: Alvardo Street Brewing + Yeast of Eden Off Topic- 6PM

To continue to celebrate Asheville Beer Week, we are hosting an Off Topic with Alvarado Street Brewery and Yeast of Eden from Monterey California. We will be tapping a couple of kegs from Yeast of Eden at 2PM along with releasing the cans of This Immortal Coil. The Off Topic will begin at 6PM with tickets going on sale at the front bar at 5:30PM. Tickets are $10 and include a branded glass, samples of beer not being poured at the taproom and access to the talk.

 Thursday 5/30: Skillet 6 Ways

2-4PM Can Sales Begin; Flight and Doughnut Pairing Pre Sale // 4PM Taproom Opens for the event

(Can Releases will also occur at The Exhibit Space, Raleigh. Draft of the can releases will be available at The Exhibit Space as well on Thursday 5/30 at 4PM)

It has become Burial tradition and lore to host Skillet 6 Ways every year during Asheville Beer Week. This event returns again with 6 Skillet Donut Stout variants on tap, along with mini doughnut pairings from Vortex Doughnuts (first come, first serve). We are kicking it up a notch with the release of Seasoned Skillet, our Bourbon Barrel Aged version of our beloved Donut Stout in 16oz cans along with one other surprise Skillet variant can release. We will be hosting can sales for the two releases as well as pre-sales for flights and doughnut pairings from 2-4PM at the front of our building on the Collier Avenue Side. We will open the taproom at 4PM to begin pouring flights.

Friday 5/31: Sour Bottle Release- 12PM

(Bottle Release will also occur at The Exhibit Space, Raleigh on Friday 5/31 at 12PM)

On Friday, May 31 at 12PM, as we close out Beer Week, we are releasing two bottles from our Barrel Program + one new 16oz can release

Death and the Miser, a red sour ale aged in our house puncheons for six months, and fresh red wine barrels for another six months upon two pounds per gallon of Montmorency, Balaton and Queen Anne cherries. Fermented with our house culture and bottle Conditioned. ABV: 8.5%

Ascent of the Blessed, a Golden Sour Ale fermented in steel, rested in our oak puncheons with brettanomyces and lactobacillus, and then aged in wine barrels for one year until grape harvest. Re-fermented atop 2lbs per gallon of Oregon-grown Viognier and Pinot Gris grapes. Made with Riverbend Malt House barley and Carolina Ground wheat. Bottle Conditioned.
ABV 9.0%
