The ultimate session ale for the steadfast warrior. Frothy, refined nuance shall floweth plentiful on this triumphant day. With gilded tankard cheerfully risen toward the heavens, we shall drink many, for miraculously, the tides have shifted to our favor. Thoughtfully crafted with English Maris Otter, Cara, Brown, Oat and Chocolate malt. Fermented with a characterful yeast from London. Notes of bread crust, hazelnut, raw cocoa and freshly raked autumn leaves.

The Remains Belgian-Style Dubbel

There was true love, lost in a fire of bustling creativity. Those which are scattered are the remnants of this peril-free wonder, now lost in time. A traditional Belgian Dubbel, brewed with pilsner malt, a plethora of Belgian dark crystal malts and traditional candi sugar to give it that much needed bubblegum complexity. This batch was fermented in steel, spunding to preserve its aroma and then keg conditioned with candi sugar to finish carbonation.

Vibrant Feedback Fusion Lager

The newest addition to our Ambient Terrain Rustic Lager Series finds us celebrating the intrepid spirit of Ohio. Brewed in collaboration with Jackie O’s Brewing and Haus Malts, this fusion lager rests bravely outside the comfort of any known style guideline, yet still manages to impart a warm embrace upon the soul, for at it’s heart, it is founded upon a deep respect for the gifts of our land. Mashed with 100% Ohio grown and malted barley, oats and triticale before being decocted, fermented cool, spunded for natural carbonation and lagered patiently.

Friday, October 26.  Music at 6:30pm, Movie at 8:30pm.
Wear your scariest costumes and come kick off Halloween Weekend at Burial.  DJ Guy Incognito will be doing his thing on-stage from 6:30pm – 8:00pm.  Voted Burial employees’ favorite Halloween movie, Evil Dead will be playing immediately following.

Burnpile is a celebration of community, of the season, of change and harvest. It is a nod to our brewery’s ethos, the beauty that lies equally in life as well as death and the tools we use to navigate through the effort and ease we encounter.

In our 5th year, we invite a community of brewers, chefs, wine makers, artists, musicians and all of those who celebrate craft to come, embrace the change in the air and experience the last hurrah before we settle in for our winter’s nap.

For the final time ever, our Burnpile will be held at our original taproom downtown, rife with new bars and extended space. Burnpile is a token festival. All entrants, regardless of the type of ticket purchased, will receive a unique event glass and tokens for their first two pours. Additional tokens can be purchased for $3 each. Tokens can be used to purchase drinks or food.

Kids and dogs are welcome to attend.  Please note that this is an adult, festival environment and proper supervision is required.
Street Parking is available. The closest public garages are  The Coxe Avenue Parking Garage on Sears Avenue off of Coxe Avenue as well as The Biltmore Parking Garage with entrances on Lexington Avenue and Biltmore Avenue. Both parking structures are about a 5 minute walk to Burial’s taproom.

The Michigan/Montreal-based band got their start in 2014 – a year which saw the band make some tremendous leaps, spewing out a handful of homespun EPs and split records. Their first proper EP was released on Dizzybird Records, and the group toured extensively the following year, playing festivals and club shows across North America and Europe. The Brooklyn-based psych label Beyond Beyond is Beyond signed the band at the beginning of 2015 and has since released their first, second, third and fourth full-length records.

The group has drawn acclaim across the globe for their spacey, driving take on West Coast psych rock. Tapping into both the twang of their ‘60s garage compatriots and building their own brand of expansive, cosmic swells, Pitchfork calls the band “catchy and kinetic,” noting their “energy and hook writing are clearly on point.” Combining a seemingly constant output of material with a kaleidoscopic live set, HEATERS are quickly forging something new and exciting.


The Veldt’s sound has accommodated the influence of musical kin Cocteau Twins as readily as it did Marvin Gaye and free jazz warriors Sun Ra and Pharaoh Sanders. These trailblazers reference European post-punk while embracing modern hip-hop, and working with transient dreamscapes as fluidly as solid song structures. Pitchfork included The Veldt ‘Afrodisiac’ in the top 50 shoegaze albums ever released and Stereogum included‘Until You’re Forever’ in the top 31 shoegaze tracks. Their sound also inspired future generations of alternative artists, including TV On the Radio.  The Veldt’s journey is fascinating. Some time after forming in Raleigh, they met programmer Hayato Nakao in New York and have together forged music that is a heady and sensual blend of shoegaze and progressive soul, dreamy soundscapes and infectious grooves. After signing to Capitol Records in 1989, The Veldt were soon in the studio with dream-gaze guru Robin Guthrie working on their initial recordings, touring with Cocteau Twins and The Jesus and Mary Chain, and recording ‘Marigolds’ with Lincoln Fong (Moose). They soon recorded their classic‘Afrodisiac’ (1994), produced by Ray Shulman (The Sundays, Bjork, Sugarcubes), which was released via Mercury Records. The Veldt has collaborated with TV On The Radio, Mos Def, Lady Miss Kier (Deee-Lite), and 4AD legend A.R.Kane and shared the stage with The Pixies, Throwing Muses, Echo & The Bunnymen, Cocteau Twins, Manic Street Preachers, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Oasis, Chuck D, Living Colour, and Schooly D.  ‘Thanks to the Moth and Areanna Rose’ EP is out now everywhere but the band requests that people directly support the band by ordering the album through their Bandcamp.


Nest Egg are a three-piece from Asheville, North Carolina who describe their head-heavy and kosmische psych-rock wig-outs as ‘mood music for nihilists’. Following a handful of tapes and singles, in 2015 the band released their debut album ‘Respectable’ – a record which cemented their minimalistic kraut-punk jams as one of the most exciting new exports in the States.

Three years on and the band have taken for international waters, joining forces with Fuzz Club for the release of their sophomore album ‘Nothingness Is Not A Curse’, officially released April 13th on vinyl and digital. In a similar ballpark to the likes of Moon Duo or Follakzoid, the new record see’s Nest Egg free-fall down an all-consuming rabbit-hole of cosmic repetition, tripped-out drones, swirling analogue synths and cacophonous guitars; the driving krautrock gusto never letting loose for a second.

Talking of the new album, the band explain: “We tracked Nothingness Is Not A Curse mostly back in 2016 and finished it up last year, we’re really excited to have it coming out on Fuzz Club. The songs were mostly written a couple of years ago and the content is just a conglomeration of everything from that time. It ranges from songs about spending a lot of time in the outdoors to songs about air travel or getting rid of scummy people in your life.”

Nest Egg is the brainchild of Harvey leisure (guitar/vocals), Ross Gentry (bass/keys) and Thom Nguyen (drums). Formed back in 2011, the band have built up a formidable reputation in the US live circuit, playing with everyone who’s anyone – from garage juggernauts Thee Oh Sees to space-rock innovators Loop.


Two food stations will be on site for the festival serving seasonally inspired food by Brian Canipelli of Cucina 24. Food will include seasonally inspired fire-roasted meats and vegetables.
