Packaging Associate
Burial Beer Co. is looking for a full time Packaging Associate t to provide support in our packaging department. We are looking for someone who has experience in the packaging areas of a brewery. Operation of canning machines is a major plus. Position will learn to operate canning and bottling lines and do so for Burial regularly.   • Operation of the packaging line, Wild Goose 250 Canning System.
  • Ensuring the product is packaged correctly within strict guidelines (proper fill heights, dissolved oxygen standards, etc)
  • Extensive maintenance and sanitation of the canning line
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the line on the fly
  • Operation of Ska depalletizer
  • Package and palletize product according to order
  • Detailed record keeping including operation checklist, maintenance logs, and package records
  • Cleaning of  1/6 BBL and 1/2 BBL kegs
  • Help maintain a clean and organized brewery environment
  • A number of other varied operational and brewery related tasks as necessary.
  • Must be willing to lift heavy objects, work long days, and shift schedule.

Media Coordinator

Burial Beer Co. is looking for a full time Media Coordinator to provide support in marketing and promoting our brand. We are looking for someone who is passionate about craft beer and has a creative knack. Photography experience a must and videography experience a plus.   • Execute pictures weekly of new releases and other promotional content
  • Manage account and Post on social media daily, sometimes multiple times a day for multiple brands/accounts
  • Update website with events, beer releases and other content
  • Update UnTapped with new, weekly releases
  • Provide support for the Event Coordinator surrounding the promotion of events (picking up promotional materials, hanging promotional materials, creating content for promotional materials)

Full Time Line Cook

RALEIGH JOBS:

 

Bar Manager for Raleigh Location

We are getting stoked about the opening of our Raleigh bar and can shop. Construction is underway and we are targeting an opening date around the Holidays.

We will be hiring a full time, full benefits bar manager to oversee all retails operations at the location. The ideal candidate has experience in craft beer, knowledge about our brand and a history of managing a team.

Requirements for Job Scope:

  • Inventory on all taproom items such as kegs and cans as well as merchandise, beverages for re-sale, glassware, cleaning items, etc.  Place orders appropriately
  • Weekly reporting on keg and can inventory in basecamp and updating in Ekos
  • Managing hiring and firing of part time bar staff
  • Coordinating with delivery teams and stocking facility
  • Facilitating communications regarding weekly releases
  • Placing requests after inventory is complete for ordering items including things from third party vendors as well as from Burial’s second facility- to be done by EOD Monday
  • Setting up the cooler, managing release schedules as it pertains to the taproom, updating chalk board, printed tap lists and online tap list
  • Square  POS education and maintenance; adding and removing buttons for new beer and merchandise releases
  • General maintenance of bar and ensuring the taproom is clean and organized, cleaning beer lines weekly
  • Posting weekly sales reports from Square
  • Scheduling of all bartending shifts
  • Travel to and from Asheville, NC for staff meetings and company events
Job Benefits:

  • Dual hourly pay – Administrative hourly pay allows the position to spend time behind the bar and share in the tips received
  • Full Time 40 hours a week- 20 hours bartending, 20 hours administrative
