The chorus of the rising tide crescendos in unison, holds, and retreats leaving in its path traces of things that once were. Unforgiving destruction. But also, tenacity granted, glimmers of hope for a better world. And in this we find the multitudes of being. We brewed this imperial stout base with wildflower honey from Georgia and then conditioned it on fig, fresh orange zest, and Madagascar vanilla to create a canvas of citrus and dark fruit to introduce a Tanzanian coffee from Onyx Coffee Roasters that we aged in Bourbon barrels in our cellar. Find in this offering notes of bourbon honey fig newton, dark chocolate orange and the deep coffee of slow autumn mornings.
