Barrel-Aged Golden Sour Ale Aged On Rhubarb, Ginger, Orange Zest, Rose Hip, Dark Fig, and Chamomile
Our annual celebration of the great vastness of Earth’s natural treasures. This golden sour ale encapsulates our entire journey of brewing, beginning as a clean blonde ale fermented with house mixed culture and aged in oak barrels for over a year. This year we have pushed the boundaries a bit, bringing back some old favorite ingredients and adding some new ones. After gaining precise acidity we re-fermented on dark figs and rhubarb and added small doses of ginger, orange zest, rose hips and chamomile. A delightful spiced lemon curd crepe, with a sidecar of rhubarb tom collins, and a chamomile hot bun.
