The alluring plumes of tortured mallow and melted chocolate come from within the darkest confines of the dimly lit sky, and comfort us to our graves. This grog was inspired by our house Imperial Stout, Voorhamer, using a bevy of dark malts, kettle-burned sugars, cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon and lactose sugar. To we the makers, this beer is as brooding and dark as our own very souls but a vivid reminder of the joy of life itself.
