Gose-Style Sour Ale with Hibiscus and Rose Hips
And another emergence from the depths. Our first ever Gose is back for the first time in a couple years, and it is still soured the hard way. This sour ale starts as a clean golden ale and is aged in oak puncheons for over a year with our house lactobacillus before bottle conditioning for more than 10 months. Brewed with our own blend of sea salts, this seaworthy vessel is christened with hibiscus flowers and rose hips to impart some radical color and aromatics. Expect grapefruit skins, saline Chablis, rosewater tartes, and tones of the farm.
