Our quenching bounty. This traditional ale is a prize befitting of a regal meal upon the hallowed grounds beneath our feet. Made in collaboration with Forestry Camp by the people who have inhabited these grounds for countless hours, covering its scars and unearthing its unbridled tale. Camp beers will be issued each season, exclusively as a way to complement the fine fare to be offered on the menu at Forestry Camp, set to open this Summer in Asheville’s Biltmore Village area. This light ale is made from a custom-malted barley made for Forestry Camp by Epiphany Craft Malt to mimic the fresh bready-ness of Cologne-style malts, and then mildly hopped with new age Huell Melon and Wai-iti hops. The result is a quaffable, gastronomic grog that presents fresh citrus zest and grass-like aromas on top of a complex layer of hearty baked breads, orchard flesh and honeycomb.
